Raw wood materials includes wood lumps, wood branches, wood chips, wood shavings and sawdust. Generally, wood materials of different size should be processed in different methods. In general, hardwood lumps can be processed by the batch-type carbonation furnace. As for wood chips and coconut shells, we can use them to make shisha charcoal briquettes or BBQ charcoal briquettes. In addition, sawdust can be used to make biomass briquettes or wood pellets.
Make shisha charcoal briquettes
Firstly, raw material such as wood chips need to be carbonized in a rotary carbonation kiln. After that, the processed material will be grind in a roller crusher machine. Next, the fine charcoal powder will be mixed in the spiral mixer. Then, a shisha charcoal briquette machine will turn the processed charcoal material into shisha charcoal briquettes.
Make charcoal briquettes
The working flow of a rod-shape charcoal briquette production line goes like: carbonizing→crushing→mixing→briquetting. It shares same working flow with the shisha charcoal briquette production line. But, in the last step, you need Charcoal Briquette Extruder Machine to make rod-shape charcoal briquettes.
Make biomass briquettes
Wood material can also used to make biomass briquettes by briquette extruders. If you want to make biomass briquettes from wood material, you should make sure its moisture content is among 8%-12%. If the raw material is too wet, a hot air dryer machine will be very helpful.
Notice: When using biomass briquettes as fuel directly, some smoke will be generated. If you want to make smokeless charcoal briquettes, you can put the finished biomass briquettes in the batch-type carbonation furnaces. After the carbonizing process, the biomass briquettes will become smokeless and odorless charcoal briquettes.
