Therefore, as for the factories that produce wood pellets, if they want to make more profit, they must guarantee their pellet making machines runs efficiently. However, out of some inevitable reasons, wood pellet mills will break down sometimes. In the following content, E.P will introduce you some common solutions to the problems that your pellet making mills cannot work normally.

Firstly, the output of pellet mills is very low. What will cause this problem? One is that the mould of the pellet making machine is worn and old. The other is that gap between the mould and the rollers is big. For the former, we suggest you change the worn mould with a new one, and for the latter, you need to adjust the gap between the mould and the rollers. 

Secondly, the finished pellets scatter easily. This is because the moisture content of the raw material is too low. Thus, you are supposed to add some water into the raw material if you meet the same problem.

Thirdly, the surface of finished pellets is rough. This is mainly caused by the high moisture content. In order to solve this problem, you need reduce the water content of the raw material.

Fourthly, the wood pellet making machine stops working suddenly. Well, this is probably caused by overload on the power supply. To solve this problem, you should power off the machine immediately, and then clean the forming chamber. Remember to adjust the pellet mill at a suitable feeding speed.
